LITE-ON Technology (TW 2301) is pleased to announce that it has been ranked top 5% in 2018 Corporate Governance evalsuation Survey by Taiwan Stock Exchange (TWSE), presenting its outstanding practices in operational transparency, corporate governance and corporate social responsibilities. LITE-ON is highly recognized for establishing the efficient corporate governance framework and executing code of practices to protect the interests and rights of investors and stakeholders, to strengthen board of directors and functional committees’ performance as well as to improve transparency, timeliness and fairness of information disclosure.

LITE-ON received high scores in five evalsuation categories such as Protecting Shareholder Rights and Interests, Treating Shareholders Equitably, Enhancing Board Composition and Operation, Increasing Information Transparency and Putting Corporate Social Responsibility into Practice for setting up corporate governance work group, integrity management working group, and performance evalsuation methods of board of directors and functional committees; establishing a direct grievance reporting channel to board of management; disclosing a solid dividend policy; appointing over half of the members in growth strategic committee from independent directors.

Co-hosted by TWSE and Taipei Exchange (TPEX), the result of the 4th Corporate Governance evalsuation has been released recently. A total of 1,536 companies, including 861 TWSE listed companies and 675 TPEX listed companies, were evalsuated. This year's evalsuation released the full results of TWSE/TPEX listed companies, according to the corporate governance roadmap, as a result, divided those companies into seven groups by scores, Top 5%, Top 6% to 20%, 21% to 35%, 36% to 50%, 51% to 65%, 66% to 80%, and 81% to 100%.
