LITE-ON Technology (2301-tw) today reported its February consolidated revenue of NT$10.87 billion, decreased 7% Y-o-Y and 30% M-o-M, excluding sales of the transferred mobiles phones camera module and mobiles mechanical business, mainly impacted by the Chinese Lunar New Year holiday shutdown. Thanks to stable end demand from core businesses, cumulative sales for January and February totaled NT$26.48 billion, up 2% Y/Y.
Opto-electronics business segment contributed an 18% share of total sales, of which, vehicle LED lighting posted a consecutive yearly growth.
Information Technologies business accounted for 64% of sales, of which, shipment growth of high-end server and networking power management systems for cloud computing, smooth delivery in laser models of Multi-Function Peripherals, coupled with ongoing market share gains in HIS (Human Input Solutions - PC Keyboards and Peripherals) maintained Information Technologies revenue the same level as the same period last year. Meanwhile, the Storage segment accounted for 13% of total revenue.
