LITE-ON Technology (2301-tw) today reported its August consolidated revenue of NT$16.35 billion, up 7% M-o-M and down 12% Y-o-Y, hitting a monthly sales record high in 2019. Thanks to stable end demand from core businesses, cumulative sales for January and August totaled NT$117.37 billion.

Opto-electronics business segment contributed a 15% share of total sales, of which, LED components and vehicle LED lighting posted consecutive monthly growths.

Information Technologies business accounted for 66% of sales, of which, shipment growth of power supplies for AI smart home devices and consumer electronics including gaming products, ongoing market share gains in HIS (Human Input Solutions - PC Keyboards and Peripherals), coupled with the smooth delivery in laser models of multi-function peripherals drove a monthly growth in Information Technologies. Meanwhile, the Storage segment accounted for 14% of total revenue.
