LITEON Technology (2301-tw) today reported its September consolidated revenue of NT$14.61 billion, hitting a record monthly revenue in 2021, up 8% M-o-M and remaining constant compared to last year; the third quarter consolidated sales of NT$41.86 billion, up 3% Q-o-Q and 2% Y-o-Y, excluding transferred Silitech, which would not be consolidated into LITEON’s financial report starting from 2021. Thanks to the stable demand from its core business, cumulative sales for January to September totaled NT$120.26 billion, up 10% Y-o-Y.
Opto-electronics business contributed a 19% share of total sales, of which, the ongoing demand growth from LED components driven by photocoupler and sensor modules used in industrial automation, 5G and AIoT applications, UV LED applied to medical, disinfection, water and air purification, coupled with the smooth delivery of high-end Mini LED.
Cloud & AIoT business contributed a 29% share of sales, a consecutive record high in 2021.Thanks to delivery growth from high-end datacenter server and networking power management systems for cloud computing, power supplies for AI smart home devices, and high-end sever enclosures, Cloud & AIoT posted a growth of over 10% M-o-M.
Information Technology & Consumer Electronics business accounted for 52% of sales, of which, the demand growth from Notebook PC power adapters and gaming power supplies, keyboards and mice, coupled with smooth delivery of laser models of multi-function peripherals, supported Information Technology & Consumer Electronics a growth of around 10% M-o-M.
