LITEON is committed to building operational resilience and deep organizational culture, actively responding to the challenges of climate change, establishing long-term competitive advantages.

“Last year, the global market and economy experienced unprecedented changes. We always believe that every crisis brings opportunities. Therefore, LITEON has built operational resilience in the face of risks and promoted operational and profit growth. In addition to strategic transformation to enhance organizational agility, LITEON has continuously strengthened the depth and breadth of its organizational culture in recent years, starting with focusing on “people” and taking “Easy to work with; Willing to share” as the core spirit of the enterprise, expanding its influence from the inside out. In the face of global climate change challenges, we strengthen carbon cost management, reduce climate risks, and enhance low-carbon competitiveness. As a provider of energy management solutions, LITEON takes energy transformation, energy saving, energy control, and energy storage as its core development strategy, actively lays out the three key areas of IoE Energy Internet (Internet of Energy): green data centers, clean mobility, and high-efficient infrastructure, and is committed to developing more environmentally friendly and energy-saving solutions. This is LITEON’s commitment and contribution to the global net-zero transformation,” said Mr. Tom Soong, Chairman of LITEON Technology

In 2023, we achieved three key operational goals, continued to expand R&D investment, and focused on AI and cloud, automotive electronics, 5G, and energy management in the future, transforming the business model.

The new management team of LITEON Technology Corporation set three key operational goals in 2020, focusing on enhancing the value of the company. With the efforts of all employees, by 2023, LITEON has achieved the three major goals initially set: enhancing profitability, increasing the proportion of high-growth businesses, and moving towards a solution-oriented business model. Over the past few years, we have shifted from OEM to a market-oriented growth strategy, and have elevated from a component manufacturer to a solution provider. In recent years, LITEON has continued to show strong growth momentum in AI and cloud power systems, which is the best proof. In addition, LITEON continues to increase its R&D energy and resources. In 2023, R&D expenditure accounted for 5.5% of total revenue, a significant increase from 3.2% in 2020, mainly invested in AI and cloud computing, automotive electronics, 5G, and new business development.

Building on its solid power management strength and foundation, LITEON has expanded to provide data center level system solutions, leading the market in launching AI server power products and liquid cooling system solutions. The key is to strengthen software development and the ability to integrate hardware and software, allowing LITEON to participate in the design and development of new generation products of suppliers and customers with its independent R&D strength, jointly define industry norms and technical specifications, proactively propose system level products that solve market pain points, improve the efficiency and performance of data center power systems, and thereby achieve the goal of energy saving and carbon reduction in green data centers.

Driven by “people-oriented” culture, LITEON strives to strengthen the sense of corporation identity among colleagues, advocate diversity and inclusion, circular economy, and expand social impact from the inside out.

“People” is the essence that shapes every action in LITEON. Putting people first is one of the key objectives in LITEON's transformation. Over the past three years, we have continued to have direct dialogues with colleagues, striving to establish a trusting and close partnership with colleagues through vision and philosophy, and to form meaningful connections with colleagues. Through adjustments to the compensation and leave system, the enhancement of the new welfare system for settling down and nurturing care, we are building LITEON into a company that realizes its vision together with its colleagues. LITEON hopes that colleagues will feel that working at LITEON is something to be proud of. Over the past year, LITEON has made many breakthroughs that are different from the past: (1) In response to the DE&I diversity and inclusion workplace initiative, LITEON established the “LITEON WoW (Women of Wonders) Club” in 2023, advocating gender equality and a friendly workplace. (2) For the first time, we established the company store - “LITEON Collection”, in which many NGO social enterprise partners participated together, aiming to advocate practicing the common good through the daily consumption. (3) We redefined Double Eleven and created the “-1111 LITEON EcoRevolve Shopping Fair” for the first time, advocating a circular economy and avoiding overconsumption. All colleagues at LITEON gather to donate second-hand collections from their homes, and all the proceeds from these charity sales were donated to four non-profit organizations dedicated to environmental protection and public welfare. Through these initiatives and activities, LITEON hopes to exert influence, let positive values be well-circulated, and achieve more social common good.
